The Family Day long weekend means many local businesses and services will keep their doors closed this Monday.
Most grocery stores and other shopping options will close for Family Day Monday, including Walmart, Chris and Tanya’s No Frills, Renfrew Metro, and Giant Tiger. Both the Beer Store and LCBO will also close on Family Day.
Local pharmacies will also be affected by the holiday, as Aikenhead’s Pharmacy and Pharmasave will also be closed. Rexall will open from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m..
Most municipal services and buildings, as well as chartered banks, will remain closed on Monday. Local post offices will be open and mail delivery will resume on Monday as usual. Select locations at the myFM Centre will remain open to the public as part of the Frewfest Winter Carnival.
