Applications are now open for student summer jobs at Ontario Parks, giving local students a chance to work outdoors while gaining paid experience. The province hires about 1,600 students each summer for positions at parks across Ontario.
Available roles include gate attendants, maintenance workers, and Discovery Rangers who lead educational programs for visitors.
Jobs are offered at parks near Smiths Falls and Perth, including Murphy’s Point Provincial Park, Rideau River Provincial Park, Silver Lake Provincial Park, and Frontenac Provincial Park.
Ontario Parks says students can build job skills, make new friends, and work in some of the province’s most scenic locations. Positions typically run through the busy summer season and are designed for students returning to school in the fall.
Applicants are encouraged to apply early to improve their chances of landing their preferred role and location.
