As part of the Age-Friendly Municipality initiative (MADA) the MRC Pontiac and its 18 municipalities have published an online survey for residents 50-years-old and up to complete.
The survey is anonymous but asks about some basic lifestyle details such as age, municipality of residence and level of independence.
The MADA program was introduced in 2008 by the Government of Quebec to promote environments which actively supports an aging population.
By 2021 more than 90 per cent of Quebec municipalities have adopted this program to combat ageism in their communities.
The survey used as a direct line-of-contact for residents to share their views and concerns about their local services.
Complete the survey online by clicking or tapping here, residents have until Jan. 30 to complete the survey.
