TODAY: The Renfrew Public Library says it’s wise to prepare for whatever challenges that life might bring, including losing a loved one. They will host a “Leaving a Legacy” seminar this Friday at 1:00 pm, diving into into essential topics like managing estates, understanding financial and legal considerations, planning a funeral service and navigating government processes after the death of a loved one. Drop-ins welcomed.
TOMORROW: The 2026 Rankin Winter Carnival continues this Saturday, as the Rankin Firefighters Association serves up a delicious pancake breakfast from 8:00 to 10:00 that morning. Maple Syrup provided by Mapleside Sugar Bush. $12.00 per adult, $6.00 for kids, and free for anyone 4 years old or under.
TOMORROW: Youth Bowl Canada invites you to join them for a special round of Bingo Bowling, Sunday morning at 10:00 am inside the Opeongo Bowldrome! $30 per person, all proceeds will go back to help the local YBC team’s programming!
