Renfrew’s annual signature events series will kick off in just over a month’s time with two full days of fun and adventure in and around the myFM Centre.
Town programming assistant Carrie Cunningham says plans are coming along nicely ahead of their Frewfest Family Day weekend, which promises two action-packed days that have in the past featured sledge hockey, wagon rides, inflatables, treks through Ma-te-Way Park’s wilderness, and even more inside the arena.
The finalized schedule is still being worked on, but right now Cunningham says their priority is making sure the entertainment can withstand any overlapping logistics and possibly extreme changes in the forecast.
She urges residents and visitors planning to make the trip looking for more details on what’s coming to Frewfest this year to keep a close eye on the event’s Facebook page ahead of the event as more marquee moments are added to the list.
Cunningham also suggests residents stay up-to-date with all events coming up ahead of the spring thaw through their winter program guide.
