WEDNESDAY: The town of Renfrew and Ontario Power Generation present Frew Year’s Eve, a free family friendly way to ring in the new year this Wednesday, December 31st! All are welcome to meet up at the myFM Centre Community Hall from 8:30 am to Noon for breakfast and lunch, a public skate, face painting, crafts, magic, storytime and more before a early New Year’s Eve countdown to cap off the day.
WEDNESDAY: Ring in 2026 at the Arnprior Legion! On December 31, Legion Branch 174 will host an unforgettable New Year’s Eve celebration featuring live music from 5 Dollar Down! Enjoy a fun, welcoming night out with great entertainment, light refreshments, and fantastic company. Tickets are limited, so be sure to grab yours early! $20 per person (plus fees). WEDNESDAY: Celebrate the new year with the Cobden Recreation Association and the township of Whitewater Region this Wednesday evening! They invite you to kick off the fun at the Cobden Arena with a free public skate from 5:30 to 6:50 pm. Then bundle up and join us outside for the last firework display of 2025 (donations for this event will be gladly accepted that evening) The Hungry Fan Canteen will be open for business for this special event.
WEDNESDAY: Calabogie Peaks Resort invites you to enjoy New Year’s Eve with a warm, joyful celebration on the mountain as they host two separate events — a hearty Lodge Buffet Dinner featuring maple mustard ham and hunters chicken stew sure to leave you satisfied starting that evening at 5:30, and a Dance Party at the Black Donald Pub with DJ Paul, a video countdown, campfires, giveaways, a late-night poutine bar, and a festive photo corner.
