Rave reviews- from the Packer side at least- regarding the first official pre-Christmas “Rivalry Series” between the Arnprior Packers and the Renfrew Junior B Timberwolves held this past weekend.
Packers President Dustin Dorken says the two-game tilt met expectations at both rinks.
And a good crowd was on also on hand at the myFM Centre in Renfrew the following evening.
A bit of a fan incentive fell a few millimetres shy of a Renfrew woman’s bank account.
Although the format was two-game total goal, the Green Shirts came away winners at both ends.
The Arnprior Packers Exec is pleased with how the initial series turned out, and is looking forward to another pre-Christmas Rivalry encounter next year.
Heading into the Holiday break Arnprior leads the Richardson Division standings by a 16 point bulge.
Play resumes January 2nd with the Arnprior Packers in Perth to play the Blue Wings.
