Police in Renfrew have been kept busy with back-to-back impaired driving cases on local roads.
Officers with the Renfrew OPP made their first arrest following single car crash within town limits at around 10:50 pm on Saturday, December 6th, bringing in a 29-year-old from Renfrew on two drunk driving related charges.
Almost 24 hours later, at around 9:45 pm on Sunday, December 7th, police responded to a separate call for service in town which led to a 32-year-old from Madawaska Valley getting arrested for impaired driving an possession of a schedule 1 substance.
Both drivers are expected to appear in court in early January.
