The team at Renfrew’s Boston Pizza says their first year in business has been something to be truly grateful for.
Manager John Birch says they recently got a chance to celebrate their one-year anniversary, marking a frantic year that saw the restaurant and its staff make great strides to grow into their role as a place for the community to flock to, as everyone from local charities and bands to schools and sporting groups made the O’Brien Road location their stop for just about every occasion possible.
Birch adds that it has been a great pleasure to be able to reach out to help local interests, something that Boston Pizza has heavily encouraged them to do even before the Renfrew location opened its doors, working alongside groups like the Robbie Dean Centre, Hospice Renfrew, and the Phoenix Centre on route to a massive amount of money raised in support of Renfrew residents in 2025.
Looking ahead, Birch is thrilled for the opportunity to continue building connections within Renfrew and the surrounding area, especially with local schools looking to fundraise and sports teams in need of a spot to unwind after the game.
He’s also ready to introduce more ways for the community-at-large to celebrate, starting with a holiday event this weekend that’s perfect for all ages.
Families who buy an adult meal that afternoon will also get a kid’s meal for $5.
The restaurant is also working on a New Year’s Eve bash, which will celebrate the start of 2026 featuring the musical talent of Silus from 8:30 pm to after midnight on December 31st.
