Beachburg residents are being warned of potential complications ahead of upgrades to the local water treatment plant.
Township staff say the plant will undergo some major renovations on Thursday, December 4th, including the replacing and commissioning of a new generator and other related equipment.
The plant will stay connected to the power grid while the work is completed but will not have access to backup power. If a hydro outage or main break happens at that time, water pressure could drop, which may lead to a precautionary boil water advisory.
The township notes that any updates and advisories will be shared through their website, social media, and hand-delivered notices.
