The results are in following another amazing showing of generosity from our community.
Giving Tuesday was another fantastic success for Renfrew Victoria Hospital and their charitable foundation, who raised $26,230 in community donations that will be matched by My Broadcasting Corporation President Jon Pole.
RVH Foundation manager Melanie Clemmer says that massive amount of money brought in will make an immediate impact.
The foundation thanks everyone who took part in the global day of generosity, adding that every dollar will touch thousands of lives in need of care.
Hospital and Foundation staff will be reaching back out to the community ahead of this Friday, as they host the official end to their Tree of Lights campaign, which will illuminate the big tree inside the hospital’s healing garden with lights dedicated in celebration, honour, memory, or support of family, friends, and caregivers on Friday.
Donations to the Tree of Lights campaign can still be made online ahead of Friday evening’s lighting.
