The Renfrew OPP says charges have been laid following a string of recently reported incidents involving impaired driving.
Among the reports that the local detachment responded to was a single car crash within town limits just after midnight on Friday, November 7th, where a 58-year-old from Quebec was arrested and charged for operating while impaired, dangerous operation, and possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000.
The accused was held for a bail hearing.
