The Ottawa Valley’s top municipal minds will continue making their case on key priorities for Renfrew County residents ahead of the weekend.
Elected officials and senior staff from the County of Renfrew, as well as local MPP Billy Denault, have made their way to Toronto for a series of meetings with provincial ministers and parliamentary assistants at Queen’s Park, where they will push to advance opportunities to improve local quality of life.
Among the topics that the county are currently working on include health and human services, homelessness costs, transportation and infrastructure needs, seniors and housing, long-term care, biomass and forestry, tourism, and economic development.
