St. Joseph’s Catholic High School has some momentum behind them today as their student athletes keep going for gold.
Celebrations are ongoing for the Jaguars’ Junior Girls basketball team after Wednesday’s Eastern Ontario Secondary School Athletics Association AA championships in Arnprior, where they shook off injuries to take the title in their first year competing at that level.
The win might have their fellow classmates feeling a little lighter on their feet this Thursday, as the St. Joe’s Senior Boys volleyball team looks for their own EOSSAA championship in Kingston.
Renfrew Collegiate Institute is also in the hunt for a title today, as the Raiders’ Senior Boys volleyball team competes at the A-level EOSSAA championships in Plantagenet.
