The Jamie Bramburger Fall Classic was a huge success on many levels, even though it had to compete with a Blue Jays World Series game but the PMC that night was red, white and loud.
Nearly 800 fans packed the PMC to watch the likes of PJ Stock and Shean Donovan entertain the crowd while raising funds for the Jamie Bramburger Memorial Fund and The Grind.
The official cheque presentation was held on Monday November 10th at The PMC with Jerry Nokack accepting the funds for The Grind and Barb Bramburger representing her late husband Jamie. Novack says that all in all it hit all the right notes and he was very pleased with how it all turned out:
A total of $6,848.39 was raised as the result of the evening. Jerry says that every penny is valuable when it comes to the work that The Grind does assisting the less fortunate.
It’s unclear at this time whether there will be another Bramburger Classic but given the success of the inaugural and the outpouring of support by the community, it might be a pretty safe bet on it coming back next year.
