Supporting seniors in the Ottawa Valley will be made easier thanks to the latest contribution from the community.
Renfrew and Area Seniors Home Support Development Coordinator Shannon Williams recently met with Heather Cote with Trinity St. Andrew’s United Church’s Thrift Shop to receive a $3,140 cheque as part of the church’s goal to give back to a not-for-profit community agency every quarter.
Seniors Home Support says that the contribution will help improve several services they offer that benefit the social lives and well-being of seniors in our area, such as their friendly visitor program and activities that take place inside the Golden Ace Activity Centre.
