This morning the County of Renfrew published their monthly update on construction projects in the area; seven are ongoing and five have been completed since the last update.
For ongoing projects close to Renfrew, the County said the Storyland Rd. closure from Alex Ln. to Hwy. 17 is wrapping up and construction should be completed by mid-November.
Storyland Rd. was closed starting on Sept. 22 this year.
The Waba Creek Bridge near Whitewater has been reduced to one lane since July but is expected to fully reopen late-November.
Pedestrians still have full access to the bridge.
The County also said Castleford Rd. from the highway to Humphries Rd. is nearly complete, all crews have to do now is seal the shoulders and paint lines.
Construction at the Burnstown-Calabogie intersection wrapped up too.
Closures which started Aug. 11 from Burnstown Bridge to Picket Hill Ln. and Stacey Ln. to 1803 Calabogie Rd. reopened on Oct. 17.
Stay tuned with the County to hear about further infrastructure construction updates.
