Voters in the MRC Pontiac are still waiting on official results, but it looks likely that there will be no change at the top of local government.
Incumbent Warden Jane Toller remains in the lead following polls closing on Sunday’s municipal election, sitting more than 600 votes over Campbell’s Bay councillors Jean-Pierre Landry and Josey Bouchard in the MRC’s latest update and nearly 2,000 votes over businessman Bruno St-Cyr.
It is still possible one of Bouchard or Landry could overtake Toller, but her lead has widened since the initial polling results first came out on Sunday night.
Pontiac MRC Warden Election Results as of Monday, November 3rd
Jane Toller: 2,338
Jean-Pierre Landry: 1,671
Josey Bouchard: 1,605
Bruno St-Cyr: 462
