On Sunday Nov. 2, Renfrew’s Jr. A Wolves and Jr. B Timberwolves are inviting the public to meet and mingle with their favourite players on their double-header.
The fun starts at 2 p.m., in the myFM Centre front lobby and marketing manager Kristina Lafrance said it’s a great opportunity to meet the players and see the junior teams’ operation firsthand.
The Jr. B Timberwolves will be available to meet people in the lobby starting at 4 p.m., and the Jr. A Wolves will be available after their game, they play at 2 p.m.
Lafrance said there is other fun to be had as well, such as visiting the museum.
The Wolves and Timberwolves have long called the myFM Centre, which at one point was called Ma Te Way Arena, their home where friends, family and the community unite.
Lafrance said it’s the perfect spot for a community gathering such as this meet and greet.
With the admission of an adult, children and students up to 17 years old get free access.
