The Farrell brothers, Patrick and Joe, have curated a landscaping company enveloped in local connection and prideful work.
Patrick Farrell, company owner, said landscaping is a tough job for those willing to endure the elements but the feedback the team receives on their projects clear those rainy days.
Farrell’s Landscaping and Plowing has been in the game for nearly two decades, and Patrick has been working construction and landscaping his entire life.
Patrick is very passionate about his work ensuring each job is top quality and he said you can really tell the difference in the quality of work from someone who truly cares about what they’re doing.
Farrell said owning your own business is a tough venture, but on the flipside can also be a rewarding experience unlike anything else.
Farrell’s Landscaping and Plowing creates walkways and clears snow to provide greater accessibility for residents instilling function in their form to build sturdy and useable outdoor spaces.

Being in this field his whole life Patrick has noticed effective communication goes a long way when developing plans with clientele.
The Farrell’s team has also worked on the grounds for local services such as the hospital and Patrick said a big motivator for his hard work is improving the place he grew up in.
This week’s Small Business features are all similar in that independent and local entrepreneurs are able to thrive because of local community connections.
Patrick said supporting local businesses not only directly supports someone’s livelihood but also provides an opportunity for cooperation at a greater scale.
