ALL MONTH: The RVH Foundation’s PUT YOUR BREAST FOOT FORWARD 5km Walk/Run takes place annually during the month of October to recognize Breast Cancer Awareness Month. You can do your 5km walk/run at anytime throughout the month of October and RVH encourages participants to share photos to our social media accounts! All funds raised from the PYBBF walk are directed to the RVH Mammography unit. TODAY: The next meeting of the Eganville and Area Horticultural Society is their FINAL FALL FLING: Preparing Your Garden For Winter, presented at the Eganville Legion by Mary Shearman Reid, an Ottawa Master Gardener and owner of Green Thumb Nursery. Social with refreshments at 7 pm, meeting at 7:30. Free to all Society members; non-members welcome with a small donation.
TOMORROW: Trinity-St. Andrew’s, 291 Plaunt St. S., monthly community lunch will be on Tuesday October 21 from 11:30-12:30. The menu is homemade soups and a bun, with spooky desserts. This is a free lunch, and everyone is welcome to attend.
TOMORROW: The Renfrew Public Library sets the table for Tween Dungeons & Dragons this Tuesday starting at 4:00 pm. Quest through the world of Dungeons & Dragons! Tween nights are GLADIATOR combat events! Come with a friend and bring your own characters, registration required! Characters need to be 5th level and only from the players hand book. Ages 10-15. Register here.
