Chris and Tanya’s No Frills is business as usual, even as work on their newest neighbour’s space rolls on.
Co-owner Chris Wojcik is eager to welcome another member of the Loblaw corporate family in the new year as a new Shoppers Drug Mart location is being built in connection to the grocery store, something that some of his regular clientele are excited to see coming to Renfrew.
Wojcik has been in regular contact with the contractor handling the construction of the new pharmacy, which is partially blocking access to the No Frills. He says construction on the new pharmacy has picked up recently following a slight delay, and all that’s missing now is for corporate to find the right fit to run the operation.
Whoever gets tabbed for the role, Wojcik says he’s excited to bring them into the same community that has gone above and beyond in making his family feel welcome since first moving in five years ago.
No Frills will continue running its own in-store pharmacy once Shoppers opens in mid-February, and Wojcik is also pleased to let customers know that the business will be undergoing a large-scale renovation and streamlining sometime next year to better handle in-store traffic and offer new products.
