Hydro One says residents near Barry’s Bay and Greater Madawaska will have to plan around a pair of blackouts later this month.
More than 650 clients between Combermere, Qaudeville, and the intersection of Highway 28 and County Road 514 will undergo a planned power outage from 9:00 am to noon on Wednesday, October 15th, as hydro crews clear out trees and brush from near local power lines.
That disruption will be followed with another planned outage for over 1,600 homes in several communities south of Renfrew, like Burnstown, Springtown, Calabogie, Ashdad, and White Lake, who will need to wait for crews to replace an insulator from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm on Sunday, October 26th.
Affected residents can stay up-to-date on information about power interruptions through Hydro One’s website.
