The Ottawa Valley’s 5th annual “Walk For Her” wrapped up Saturday in Shady Nook where organizer Lana Gorr had the pleasure of showing off a really big cheque:
An absolutely beautiful fall day coupled with some of the most dedicated fundraisers in The Valley made for a huge win for the fine folks at Pembroke Regional Hospital and their cancer research efforts. Gorr calls it a huge success overall:
Even though the walk is done for the year donations are still being accepted at www.walkforher.ca. Donations can be made for the remainder of the year. Congratulations to everyone who participated this year.
