Renfrew Victoria Hospital president and CEO Suzanne Madore was just one of the notable figures representing RVH at the evening of connection and gratitude.
The evening was dedicated to RVH showing its appreciation to the community for their contributions to the hospital such as donations.
Madore said donations gave way to upgrades to the X-ray suite, alongside a new X-ray machine, a new 3D mammogram machine, a stress test treadmill and a new anesthesia machine.
Madore only joined the RVH team in late April and this gathering was also an opportunity for her to reflect on the community’s compassionate spirit and how it benefits the hospital.
Despite her working in Ottawa, Madore was actually born and raised in the Valley and even took nursing at the Algonquin campus in Pembroke.
She said with all the support she is hopeful RVH is going to be successful going forward.
Renfrew-Nipissing-Pembroke MPP Billy Denault also made an appearance that evening and he remarks on how important it is to be investing time and resources into community services such as RVH.
