From cracked pavement to wonky sidewalks, Renfrew residents will soon get their say on what should be fixed first.
Town council will host a pair of structured town hall sessions on Tuesday, October 14th, which Clerk Carolyn Errett says will give the community a chance to go over the details on which road improvement projects should be prioritized and the level of service and maintenance along accompanying sidewalks.
Council has had a planned town hall in the works as part of the town’s Corporate Work Plan, and Errett points out the timing of the event will appropriately run in sync with Ontario’s Local Government Week, which highlights civic participation and celebrates the role of local government in everyday life.
Residents can drop by council chambers inside Renfrew Town Hall to share their perspectives that morning starting at 10:00 am and again at 5:30 pm, with both sessions featuring the same presentation and discussion topics.
