TODAY: Renfrew’s local Air Cadets Squadron is back with a new cadet open house this Tuesday at 7:00 pm inside 164 Argyle Street South. Prospective cadets and their parents can learn about Canada’s premier dynamic and active program for youth ages 12 to 18. Their cadets build self-confidence, meet new people, and travel for unique training experiences. You can even begin your registration to join in advance online.
TODAY: What’s better that doing hands-on crafting? Doing it with others! The Renfrew Public Library welcomes you to Craft and Connect, where you can chat away while you create something awesome (like painting, friendship bracelets, delicious treats, and collages!) every Tuesday night starting at 6:00pm. Registration for each session is required.
TOMORROW: Test your knowledge this Wednesday evening with a round of music trivia hosted by Chris Cooper from CCDJ Events and Boston Pizza, 435 O’Brien Road in Renfrew! $5 entry fee per person with prizes on hand for the winners! Reserve early, as this one fills up fast.
TOMORROW: The Renfrew Public Library continues its Golden Growth Seniors programming with a Seed and Bulb Workshop this Wednesday starting at 10:00 am. Learn how to properly collect seeds and plant bulbs as the fall weather begins to roll in and ensure your garden comes back beautifully year after year. It’s a free, bilingual workshop for ages 55+ Registration preferred but drop-ins welcome.
