With everything happening at the Renfrew Fairgrounds this weekend, it might be tough to fit everything in to just one visit.
The fair’s administrative coordinator, Judy Dobec, says the action at the Renfrew Fair continues all weekend long, including a brand new event that will try to beat the forecasted showers on Friday, one that the Renfrew Agricultural Society hopes will be a fine complement to the fan-favourite demolition derby this Saturday.
Those two events will be surrounded by wall-to-wall fun and games at the Robertson Amusement midway, vendors and food stands lining the front accessway of the fairgrounds, and live entertainment each day and night inside the Armouries, where the bar will be open.
On top of that, Dobec touted just a few of the amazing agricultural events that make up the local heart and soul of what is one of Canada’s oldest fairs.
Fairgoers can drop by each evening over the weekend to see the fair’s headline acts at the Armouries, including this evening when the Keith Glass band opens for iconic Canadian group Big Sugar starting at 8:30 pm.
