A notable accident in Douglas has led to charges for the truck driver involved.
Local police were called after a tractor trailer rolled over at the intersection of Queen and Isabella Streets along Highway 60 just after 2:30 pm on Thursday, September 4th.
Both the truck and the load of lumber it had been carrying had to be towed away, forcing authorities to reroute traffic away from the scene until the highway reopened at around 10:30 pm.
The driver, a 29-year-old man from Quebec, has been charged with making an improper left turn.
