Enjoy four days of thrilling rides and games from Robertson Amusements, amazing live entertainment all weekend at the Armouries, Friday’s BMX Show, Saturday’s demolition derby, plus a spotlight on local agriculture at the livestock pens, including a horse, pony, and cattle shows, and more! TODAY: The Arnprior Public Library hosts a grief support session this Thursday from 4:30 to 6:30 pm at the Madawaska St. location. It’s a monthly gathering for adults grieving the death of a loved one. Free to attend, pre-registration is required by calling 613-433-3393 x2237.
TOMORROW: Renfrew area seniors can get the inside track on the latest in technology at the Renfrew Public Library this Friday at 1:00 pm as they host one of many upcoming Golden Growth technology workshops! This free event is perfect for those aged 55+ with questions about their computers, tablets, and phones. Call the library ahead of time to save your spot at 613-432-8151 ext 606 or by email.
TOMORROW: The Shawville Shenanigans Playgroup invite families to join them at Mill Dam Park this Friday morning from 9:30 to 11:30 for a special outdoor playgroup. The day provides the same great relaxed environment for kids 0-5 that their usual play sessions provide in a new location. Snacks will be provided, but be sure to bring sun protection and plenty of water. If the weather is bad, the group will meet at the nearby Anglican Church Hall if available.
