Renfrew OPP report a morning dirt bike collision near Calabogie has left the rider with serious injuries.
Officers say the accident happened on the K&P Trail near Ashdad Road about 845AM this morning.
When police arrived at the site, the 15 year-old rider, who had been on his way to school, had already been rescued by paramedics and was subsequently airlifted to a regional trauma centre by Orng air ambulance.
His injuries are very serious- but are not life-threatening.
Police say the boy was wearing a helmet at the time of the accident, and no other vehicles were involved.
He was located by his parents.
Renfrew OPP continue their investigation, assisted by a collision reconstructionist and a Technical Collision investigator.
