Renfrew’s Jr. A Wolves made sure to secure the centrepiece of their player core ahead of preseason action getting underway over the Labour Day long weekend.
The team has announced that Captain Tal Stevenson will be back to lead his hometown club once again for the 2025-2026 season.
Stevenson, who is entering his fourth year of CCHL eligibility, has been part of Renfrew’s minor hockey system since starting at the Timbits level, culminating in taking over as the Wolves’ on-ice leader midway through last year.
Club officials say that Stevenson is “ready to lead, inspire, and bring his grit and skill” back to the lineup as the team continues its preseason schedule at 7:30 pm this Saturday, September 6th, when they host the Carleton Place Canadians at the myFM Centre.
