Don't forget to grab essentials for the long weekend ahead of Monday's closures.
Labour Day long weekend is enjoyed in leisure by many, including some business operators.
Plenty of stops and shops will be closed although some do stick it through the holiday.
The Beer Store and LCBO will be closed on Labour Day Monday, Sept. 2.
Chartered banks will also be closed that Monday.
As for the box stores off of O’Brien Rd.; Walmart, Chris and Tanya’s Nofrills, Canadian Tire and Giant Tiger will be closed but Dollarama will remain open.
In the downtown core Metro and Aikenhead’s will be closed.
