The Renfrew OPP’s focus on a weekend home invasion at a local inn is ongoing.
Officers were sent to the inn just after 9:00 pm on Sunday, August 31st, after reports that two males entered a room, assaulting the occupants with what is believed to be bear spray and stealing from them before fleeing the scene.
Local police were joined by the OPP Emergency Response Team and Canine Unit to assist in the search for the suspects, who have yet to be located.
Investigators believe the attack was targeted and are urging anyone with information to contact the Renfrew OPP or Renfrew County Crime Stoppers and refer to incident E251186385.
