Parking on Raglan Street remains unchanged, which was already at the three-hour limit.
The Town of Renfrew has just extended the allotted time for residents to park their cars.
Cars are now able to park for up to three hours uninterrupted in most public street parking areas.
Back in March Renfrew’s council discussed parking in the town which also included adding 14 additional accessible parking spaces.
The three-hour limit was added to enforce a more consistent parking policy so residents don’t have to think about varying parking periods in-town.
Grigg Avenue, which runs alongside RVH’s emergency entrance, is just one of the streets with this new three hour limit.
However, not all streets follow the new rules.
The Town of Renfrew reminds drivers that some streets have their own parking limits and drivers need to follow these rules to comply with parking by-law standards for the area.
Streets with unique parking limits should have signage indicating their own restrictions.
Parking limits in Renfrew are dictated by factors such as location, traffic flow and road width.
