A recent arrest should remind local drivers to mind their behaviour at all times, but especially when passing by ongoing construction.
The Renfrew OPP was called to a traffic complaint in a construction area at around 6:30 in the evening on Sunday, August 17th.
Officers were able to locate the vehicle to begin investigating the complaint, eventually charging a 33-year-old from town for drunk driving and refusing to comply with a demand.
Their driver’s license has been suspended for 90 days, and their vehicle was impounded for a week ahead of a court appearance in mid-September.
