Police in Horton were called in after a dispute between neighbours became violent.
The Renfrew OPP say a 65-year-old from Renfrew has been arrested after they were called to the township to handle the altercation at around 12:30 pm on Tuesday, August 12th.
Officers have held the accused for a bail hearing on three counts of uttering threats to cause death or bodily harm, plus another for threatening to damage or injure an animal, as well as resisting a peace officer.
