ALL WEEKEND: The 166th Cobden Fair returns starting this Friday, August 22nd, with a line up of fun, games, rides, music, and more that’s perfect for all ages! Enjoy Cope Amusements midway, livestock shows, food and craft vendors, scavenger hunt, bingo and non-stop entertainment all weekend long! Find the full schedule on their website.
TODAY: The Downtown Renfrew BIA welcomes you to kick start your weekend with Music in the Square! Every Friday in July and August, the BIA will bring local artists and bands to Low Square, just outside Town Hall on Raglan Street! While you’re there, check out the Heart of Renfrew Market happening along Railroad Avenue. This week, Neil Kennedy takes the stage from 5:00 to 8:00 pm. Weather permitting.
TODAY AND TOMORROW: The Ottawa Valley Buskerfest returns to Pembroke starting this Friday at 5:00 pm. Drop by the Pembroke Amphitheatre for circus-style performances, artist demonstrations, food, music, a drone show and more! The action continues on Saturday from 11:00 am to 6:00 pm along the downtown core.
TOMORROW: Renfrew Presbyterian Church is blessed to once again host the “Norman Eady Memorial Fruit Fundraiser.” People who pre-ordered their peaches, plums, nectarines, and pears earlier this month can pick their order up at the church – 460 Raglan St. S., Renfrew – this Friday between 8am and 1pm.
