TODAY: The Renfrew Public Library invites you to come hang out with your favourite summer novel this Thursday evening at 6:30 and enjoy your book in the company of fellow readers. Discuss your best summer reads, make recommendations (and hear ours!) and meet new friends. Registration Required. Ages 18+
TODAY: McNab/Braeside celebrates one last hurrah before summer ends with a Burnstown Beach Party this Thursday from 4:00 to 6:00 pm! Drop by the beach along Calabogie Road for music, giant games, sand toys, and fun on the beach with lifeguard on duty plus much more! Vendors will be on site for food and the Paddle Shack will be open for kayak and paddleboat rentals! Don’t forget a swimsuit, towel, and sunscreen!
TOMORROW: The 166th Cobden Fair returns starting this Friday, August 22nd, with a line up of fun, games, rides, music, and more that’s perfect for all ages! Enjoy Cope Amusements midway, livestock shows, food and craft vendors, scavenger hunt, bingo and non-stop entertainment all weekend long! Find the full schedule on their website.
TOMORROW:The Downtown Renfrew BIA welcomes you to kick start your weekend with Music in the Square! Every Friday in July and August, the BIA will bring local artists and bands to Low Square, just outside Town Hall on Raglan Street! While you’re there, check out the Heart of Renfrew Market happening along Railroad Avenue. This week, Neil Kennedy takes the stage from 5:00 to 8:00 pm. Weather permitting.
