
Local police say their work will continue along a dangerous stretch of road in Greater Madawaska.
The Renfrew OPP says people in the area will notice an increase in the presence of officers as they monitor speeds and watch for other bad driving behaviour along Centennial Lake Road, particularly focusing on motorcycles driving through the area.
It’s a notice that comes after police charged a motorcyclist for going over 150 kilometres per hour in a posted 80 km/h zone at the end of July.
