The Public Budget Consultation survey is one of the more upfront ways for residents' to share their interests and priorities with council.
Last week the Town of Renfrew published their 2026 Public Budget Consultation survey.
It’s an annual survey the town uses as a direct line-of-contact between residents and council to determine how respondents prioritize the town’s budget.
The survey for the 2026 budget meeting has been in circulation since Wednesday, Aug. 13 and will be open until Thursday, Aug. 28.
Hannah MacMillan, Town of Renfrew’s communications and engagement coordinator, said the responses may be considered in council’s upcoming budget meeting.
“All responses from the survey will be compiled into a public report and presented to council at an upcoming budget meeting, likely in September or October,” MacMillan said.
The survey is open until next Thursday, and Renfrew residents can access it on the town’s website or their Facebook page.
