Renfrew’s Craft Beer and Food Truck Festival is kicking off the year with some additional support.
For the first time ever the event will have multiple sponsors to help offset the cost of running Renfrew’s own October fest.
Janyne Fraser, Community Outreach and Program Supervisor, said sponsor slots filled out nearly as soon as the sponsorship spots were published.
There are three main sponsors for the event; a title sponsor, an entertainment sponsor and an ice machine sponsor.
The title sponsor, which for 2025 is Zohr’s Funeral Home, will have their logo printed on this festival’s beer glass to commemorate community collaboration.
The entertainment sponsor is Erica Etmanskie with EXP REALTY, but the festival is still looking for an ice machine sponsor.
Fraser said the addition of an ice machine for this year was necessary because previously the vendors took to the businesses on Raglan Street for ice, quickly tapping their reserves dry.
The town is also looking for additional food vendors with only one confirmed at the moment.
For the vendors this is a lucrative event and the town is expecting at least 1,500 people to sip and savour the moment.
The town has also partnered in promotion with the Downtown Renfrew Business Improvement Area (DRBIA) to add some shopping into the mix.
Participating downtown businesses will be open late during the night of the Craft Beer and Food Truck Festival for Sip, Shop & Savour, presented by the DRBIA.
The Renfrew Craft Beer and Food Truck Festival is currently scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 4.
