Support for the Renfrew and District Food Bank continues to see an outpouring of support during a time that usually sees support sag.
Trinity St. Andrews United Church in Renfrew has announced a $2,930 contribution to the local food bank as part of their thrift shop’s mission to give back a portion of their quarterly sales to a local not-for-profit community agency.
The church says the money “will go a long way to helping ensure that their clients have healthy and nutritious food” as more seniors and bigger families make use of the food bank to bridge the gaps in their food budgets.
