Police in Palmer Rapids are turning to the rest of the Ottawa Valley for help in solving a theft from a church.
The OPP says the incident, which happened on Palmer Road between June 17th and 20th, saw a number of items taken, including brass crosses and a large, heavy statue of the Virgin Mary that would have required two people to carry it.
The investigation has been unsuccessful so far, and officers are turning to local residents for assistance.
If you saw suspicious activity near the church or have relevant surveillance video, contact the Upper Ottawa Valley OPP or Renfrew County Crime Stoppers.
