An unruly boater is facing charges after a bout of bad behaviour along the Madawaska River.
The OPP says officers were sent to a section of the river in the Combermere area just after 9 pm on Tuesday (July 29th) after reports of a 42-year-old man from Madawaska Valley in a peddle boat yelling at people and making threats.
His behaviour continued once officers arrived on the scene, and the accused refused to provide a breath sample, leading to him spending a night in a jail cell.
The accused will appear in court next month, while the peddle boat was returned to its owner.
