After a few weeks of teasing, the people running Chuck’s Roadhouse in Pembroke say they’re ready to bring another location to the Ottawa Valley.
Co-owners Yuvrajsinh Zala and Devang Patel have gone from frequent visitors to the bar and grill to opening a franchise of their own in Pembroke last fall, and Zala explains that business has picked up to the point where opening a second location connected to Arnprior’s Ramada Inn has quickly turned from concept to reality.
Both owners are confident that there is both space and demand for a second location within the Ottawa Valley and believe Arnprior is a prime location that will attract customers from both the community and those visiting from the west end of Ottawa.
Zala says they’ve been watching the response to the trickle of information about the new location on social media and are encouraged to see just how much positive buzz is building ahead of the opening.
The new location will mark a new leg in the journey for both Patel and Zala, who will go from working together in one location to handling operations on their own. However, Patel is excited for the chance to meet and grow roots in a brand new community while also being closer to family still living in the Ottawa area.
Work is still being done to renovate the new location to fit the needs of a Chuck’s Roadhouse, but hungry patrons can expect the doors to open between mid-September and late October.
