The CHEO Golf Tournament goes this Saturday July 26th and it promises to be one of the “must-not-miss” golf events of the season. The 3rd annual fundraiser sponsored by a veritable who’s-who of local organizations hopes to surpass last years take of over $12,000 all of which was donated to CHEO.
Patti Bailey, co-owner of The Brick Pembroke and official host of the tournament says that her relationship with CHEO is one that just keeps growing as time goes on:
Patti is always looking for ways to give back to the hospital over and above the annual golf tourney and she has found a few creative ways as she goes along:
I asked Patti what her goal for this years fundraiser will be and not surprisingly she hopes to blow last years total right out of the water:
The format is best-ball so its a nice relaxed and fun tourney, says Bailey, and East Side Marios has been tapped for the catering which is also exciting. Local band Stereo Typical will provide the musical entertainment after the game with tons of raffles and prizes throughout the day to make it even more enjoyable for an amazing cause.
