One of the Robbie Dean Counselling Centre’s most anticipated annual events, Music for a Cause is back — bringing together great live music, fantastic food, and community spirit, all in support of no-cost mental health services across Renfrew County.
Paul Kelly, event organizer says that this one should stand out against many of the other fundraising events this season:
Set in a scenic outdoor setting, the evening will feature performances from three live bands, food by Finnigan’s Road House, and refreshing beverages — all to keep the energy high and the good times flowing.
Kelly goes on to give us an idea as to what you can expect at this particular event:
Whether you’re coming for the music, the meal, or to show your support for mental health, Music for a Cause is a can’t-miss event. Attendees can even travel by ATV along the Algonquin Trail to reach the site.
The musical lineup is a veritable “Who’s Who” of local talent:
As a teacher, Kelly says that this event is close to his heart as he has seen the kind of anxiety present in some young people that causes great concern and he knows needs to be addressed:
This celebration of community raises funds to support the Centre’s ongoing work, helping ensure accessible counselling services for individuals and families in need.
Come enjoy an unforgettable evening on July 26th and help make a difference. For more details or to support the event, contact: info@rdfcc.ca.
