The County of Renfrew’s Economic Development Division is proud to announce the return of the Taste of the Valley event series—an annual celebration of everything grown, made, and created in Renfrew County.
Launched over a decade ago to highlight local food producers in the Ottawa Valley, Taste of the Valley has since evolved into a vibrant showcase of the region’s wide-ranging talents. The event now embraces a broader definition of “taste,” spotlighting local foods, handmade products, visual arts, and cultural experiences that reflect the distinct character of our communities.
The 2025 season kicks off on Saturday, July 26 in Eganville at the Eganville Arena (178 Jane Street), from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. The event will feature more than 85 vendors, both inside the arena and outside in the parking lot. Visitors can expect fresh local produce, handcrafted items, baked goods, hot prepared meals, jams, and preserves—all created by artisans and food producers from across Renfrew County.
“We are so excited to see Taste of the Valley come back to Bonnechere Valley in 2025,” said Bonnechere Valley Mayor Jennifer Murphy. “Taste of the Valley provides a wonderful opportunity to promote local producers and allows residents and visitors to shop local.”
The 2025 Taste of the Valley series will take place in partnership with the following host municipalities:
-
Bonnechere Valley – July 26 (Eganville Arena)
-
Laurentian Valley – August 23 (Alice and Fraser Recreation Centre)
-
