TODAY:
The Greater Madawaska Landscape Artist of the Year head to Barnet Park in Calabogie this Saturday from 10-4! It is a free amateur artist competition for children and adults at Barnet Park, Calabogie. Competitors will use the inspiring views of the park to make their masterpieces. There will be 4 categories; adults, high school students, grade 4 – grade 8, 0 – grade 3. Ottawa valley, let’s roll up our sleeves, take out our art supplies and get creative!
TODAY: Cara’s Kegger comes to Cartwright Springs Brewery in Pakenham this Saturday to raise awareness and funding for Roger Neilson Children’s Hospice, supporting their mission to meet the unique palliative care needs of newborns, children, youth, and their families. You’re invited to join them from 2:00 pm until last call for food and drinks, live music, inflatables, face painting, balloon animals, games and prizes. $25 at the gate, which includes a souvenir cup and beer ticket. Those under the age of 19 are free.
TOMORROW: The 29th Cross Street Cup returns to the myFM Centre parking lot this Sunday! RHL Renfrew caps off their street hockey season by hosting the most prestigious annual ball hockey tournament in Eastern Ontario from 11:00 am to 6:00 pm. Audiences welcome!
TOMORROW: The town of Arnprior presents Concerts in the Park, their annual summer series showcasing local talent on Robert Simpson Park’s Gazebo Stage. Performances run from 2:00pm-4:00pm for ten Sundays, beginning the week after our annual Priorpalooza Music Festival. The Town of Arnprior and the Recreation Department are excited to bring the sound of music back this summer. This week’s act: Terry Marcotte and the Ottawa Valley Outlaws

The Renfrew Jr A Wolves are looking for billet families for the 2025-2026 season! The importance of billet families to the Wolves organization is immeasurable. Without billets, the team could not put a team on the ice! The goal of billet families is to provide an environment of support and trust with the players, giving them a home away from home.
